As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and provide a welcoming customer service presence for employees and visitors. Requirements

  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at a food and beverage production and/or distribution location in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and report unauthorized entry attempts or suspicious activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Complete reports and logs, communicate shift activity to the next officer and/or supervisor, and assist with loss prevention observations and other security-related duties as assigned.
