As an unarmed patrol officer at a fast-paced food and beverage production location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps discourage security-related incidents, and support smooth daily operations. You will complete routine rounds, document observations, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and respond to concerns with a customer-service mindset. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions and observations per site requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Control access at entrances and vehicle gates by checking identification and/or credentials, maintaining visitor and vendor logs, and directing deliveries to designated receiving areas.
  • Communicate with site leadership and Allied Universal supervisors regarding operational concerns, suspicious activity, equipment issues, and/or changing conditions in the location.
