Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Having a guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Being able to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Having CPR and/or First Aid training is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control guidelines, and customer requirements at a tech, media, and/or telecom location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting on-site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and other systems when assigned, and communicate suspicious activity and/or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete shift activity logs and incident reports with clear, accurate details, and assist with directing visitors, managing deliveries, and supporting special events as assigned.
