As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy government aviation location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and calls for service. You will document observations, support access control and perimeter checks, and deliver standout customer service to travelers and staff. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and airport visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government aviation location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of terminals, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by post.
  • Monitor access points and restricted areas by observing for unusual activity, verifying credentials and/or authorizations as required by post orders, and reporting concerns through proper channels.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating with appropriate airport authorities and/or emergency services.
  • Complete detailed reports of incidents, patrol activity, and service requests; communicate observations and updates to supervisors, site contacts, and/or public partners as required.
