As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and help to deter security-related incidents through a professional, visible presence. You will document observations, support access control procedures, and communicate clearly with residents, guests, and site contacts while providing welcoming customer service. Requirements

Be 21+ years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting on-site management and/or public emergency services as directed by post orders.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential buildings, common areas, amenities, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, gates, and parking areas by verifying visitor access, assisting with deliveries, and addressing parking concerns in accordance with site policies.
Complete daily activity logs and incident reports, communicate updates during shift turnovers, and promptly report maintenance hazards and/or property issues observed during rounds.
