Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail and mall location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will assist guests and tenants with friendly customer service, communicate clearly, and document observations. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to guests, tenants, and staff by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail and entertainment location.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter routes; note unusual activity and report findings per post orders.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and guest concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, using verbal de-escalation and requesting additional support from site management and/or public responders as needed.
- Monitor access points and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized entry, loitering, and disruptive behavior; provide directions and assist with crowd flow during peak periods and special events.
- Complete detailed written reports, incident documentation, and shift logs; communicate timely updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts using approved reporting methods.
