As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible security-related presence, and assist with routine access control and incident response. This role offers the chance to deliver outstanding customer service, clear communication, and dependable support while working with a team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, and acting with integrity.

Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
This position is primarily a driving post.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy violations observed during patrols.
Support property operations by providing directions, answering questions, and assisting with routine security-related requests while maintaining awareness of activity throughout the location.
