As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms and/or concerns, document activity, and deliver standout customer service through clear communication. Requirements

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • A guard card and/or applicable security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to on-site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
  • Control access to the location by checking identification, managing visitor sign-in, issuing badges as applicable, and directing guests to appropriate areas.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or operational concerns for reporting.
  • Complete detailed written and electronic reports, monitor alarms and/or CCTV when assigned, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
