Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a busy retail distribution location, where you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support daily operations through strong communication, customer service, and incident awareness while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a busy retail distribution location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including interior areas, loading and receiving zones, parking areas, and the perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report unusual behavior, damaged property, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
Support orderly operations by observing truck traffic, employee entry and exit activity, and/or after-hours conditions, while following Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
