About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Associate in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming atmosphere through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, following posted policies, and/or assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related issues to site leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, observe visitor and vendor activity, and/or support loss prevention awareness by reporting suspicious behavior, policy violations, and security-related concerns.
Assist with closing and opening routines, support crowd and line management during busy periods, and/or provide visible presence throughout the location.
