As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and provide clear customer service and communication to employees and visitors. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy requirements. At Allied Universal, you will bring integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach to every shift.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, contractors, drivers, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and post orders in a food and beverage production and warehouse location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to identify unusual conditions, unsecured doors, and policy concerns.
• Monitor access control points and manage visitor and delivery traffic by checking identification, issuing badges, verifying appointments, and directing individuals to appropriate check-in locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as directed and documenting actions taken.
• Complete detailed reports and maintain logs of patrol activity, access activity, and incident response, and communicate relevant updates to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
