As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors with clear communication and customer service. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, documenting events, and notifying site leadership and/or public responders as required.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and interior areas, verify identification and/or access credentials when required, and assist with directing visitors, deliveries, and contractors according to site procedures.
• Complete detailed reports, shift logs, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal management and onsite contacts during shift transitions.
