As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols and visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, document activity, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license meeting AU Driver Policy Requirements. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to client employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a tech-focused location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, lobbies, parking areas, and exterior perimeter to help to identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access.
  • Monitor access points and security-related systems such as alarms and cameras when assigned, and document observations according to site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, notifications to site contacts, and coordination with local responders as needed.
  • Complete routine reports and incident documentation, including patrol logs, visitor and/or badge checks as assigned, and communication updates to Allied Universal supervision and site management.
