As a driving, unarmed Patrol Officer at a high-tech aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and deliver customer service that reflects Allied Universal being agile, reliable, and innovative. You will support a caring, people-first culture through teamwork and integrity on every shift.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A minimum of 1+ years of security-related experience is required.
  • An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Control access at entrances and restricted areas by verifying identification, managing visitor logs, and directing authorized personnel and/or deliveries per site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site representatives and/or public emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report irregularities.
  • Complete detailed reports and documentation of patrols, access activity, incidents, and maintenance concerns, and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
