Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a utilities location, where you will conduct routine rounds, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and report unusual activity with clear, professional communication. You will engage respectfully with employees and visitors, provide strong customer service, and respond to situations using teamwork and integrity. This is a driving post, requiring a valid drivers license under AU Driver Policy Requirements.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and notifying appropriate personnel as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization where required, and document security-related concerns in written reports and/or logs.
• Observe and report unusual conditions such as open doors, damaged fencing, and/or alarm indications, and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
