You will drive between areas as needed, conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related issues, and provide professional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 6+ months of security-related experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors and/or vendors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entries, parking areas and perimeter points, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor check-in processes, verify credentials as required, and assist with directing authorized personnel to the correct areas.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical events, disturbances, alarms and/or suspicious activity, and escalate to on-site contacts and/or public services as needed.
  • Complete timely reports and logs, document incidents and observations, and communicate security-related information to supervisors and site representatives.
