About The Position
As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver Full Time in Summit, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a commercial real estate location. You will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and service requests with clear communication. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, property rules, and post orders.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including lobbies, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, and coordinate notifications to property management and/or emergency responders as directed.
- Monitor access points and key areas, verify identification and/or visitor authorization when required, and document access activity per site procedures.
- Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation accurately and on time, and communicate notable conditions to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.
