This is a driving post where you will respond across assigned areas, assist with access and badge activity, and communicate clearly with employees and visitors. Requirements

Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a guard card.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and emergency response actions when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, grounds, perimeter, and other restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, gates, and utility-related operational areas, verifying credentials, controlling access, and reporting suspicious behavior and/or policy violations.
Support daily operations at the location by completing assigned reports, maintaining awareness of site conditions, and following Allied Universal standards and client-directed post orders.
