Job Description As a Security Officer - Patrol Response Driver in Rochester, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a healthcare location. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, support access control, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a healthcare location by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report details to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, labs, offices, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or policy violations.
• Control access by monitoring entrances, checking credentials as required, and directing visitors, vendors, and deliveries according to site procedures.
• Complete security-related reports such as incident reports, daily activity logs, and patrol documentation and communicate relevant information during shift turnover.
