As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with staff and visitors, document observations, and respond to concerns with a customer-first mindset. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to client employees, contractors, and/or visitors by following established security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken per post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, noting unusual conditions and reporting them through the appropriate channels.
  • Monitor access control points during patrol activities by observing entry and exit activity, verifying credentials as directed, and helping to deter unauthorized access and/or loss.
  • Complete shift reports and incident reports, communicate pass-down information to oncoming personnel, and coordinate with Allied Universal supervision and site contacts as needed.
