About The Position

As a Security Officer - Patrol Response in North Little Rock, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, where you will help maintain a strong security-related presence through routine patrols and visible rounds. You will observe activity, respond to alarms and/or access control needs, document incidents, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors. Bring integrity, teamwork, and a people-first mindset as you support a reliable, innovative operation.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Walk / stand long periods of time

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Guard card and/or license is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site leadership and/or public emergency services when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial areas, including buildings, yard areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and restricted areas, verifying credentials, directing traffic flow as assigned, and documenting entries and exits per site procedures.
Complete detailed shift reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to the next shift, and promptly report hazards, damage, and/or suspicious activity to supervision.
