As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an aero and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols and inspections of assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence, and support access control and incident reporting. You will communicate clearly with onsite teams, respond to service requests, and embody our agile, reliable, and innovative approach while acting with integrity and teamwork.
Requirements
- Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report events according to post orders and established procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, work areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Control access at entry points by verifying credentials, directing visitors to the proper check-in process, and maintaining required logs and/or documentation.
- Monitor alarms, CCTV, and communication systems as assigned, and coordinate with site contacts and/or public responders when required.
