As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier hotel and resort location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support guests and staff through exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies within a hotel and resort location.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas for unauthorized access, disturbances, and/or policy violations, documenting observations and communicating relevant information to management.
  • Assist with emergency response activities, including directing guests and staff during alarms, disturbances, medical events, and/or evacuation-related situations in accordance with site procedures.
