Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies within a hotel and resort location.
Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas for unauthorized access, disturbances, and/or policy violations, documenting observations and communicating relevant information to management.
Assist with emergency response activities, including directing guests and staff during alarms, disturbances, medical events, and/or evacuation-related situations in accordance with site procedures.
