About The Position

As a Security Officer - Patrol in Naples, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet employees and visitors, respond to calls for assistance, document observations, and communicate clearly with site contacts and your team. Requirements

  • Be at least 21+ years of age.
  • Possess a DD214 with Honorable Discharge OR an Associates Degree/60 College Credits OR a Police Academy Certificate OR a Corrections Academy Certificate.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors and staff at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and public areas, observe for unusual conditions, and report concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, notifications, and documentation as required.
  • Complete required reports and logs, including incident reports and patrol activity documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
