About The Position

As a Security Officer - Patrol in Tulsa, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document activity, use a computer or tablet to complete reports, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and/or petrochemical location.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and escalating concerns per post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter fencing, watching for conditions that may help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Control access at designated entry points during patrols by verifying authorization, directing traffic, and/or assisting with visitor check-in procedures as assigned.
  • Complete detailed daily activity reports and incident reports, and communicate key observations to site representatives and Allied Universal supervision.
