About The Position

As a Security Officer - Perimeter Patrol in Lebanon, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with teams and visitors, and respond professionally to routine concerns. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification and/or delivery documentation when required, and directing visitors and contractors according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy issues to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
  • Complete detailed patrol and incident reports, monitor alarms and/or camera systems when assigned, and communicate clearly with site personnel, dispatch, and/or emergency services as needed.
