About The Position

As a Security Officer - Perimeter Patrol in Fulton, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will greet associates and visitors, support access points, and report concerns clearly and promptly. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property loss.
• Monitor inbound and outbound traffic for employees, visitors, and commercial drivers, helping to manage entry and exit in accordance with site policies.
• Complete reports and logs, communicate unusual activity to management and/or appropriate responders, and support shipping and receiving operations by maintaining a visible presence in assigned areas.
