Job Description As a Security Officer - Perimeter Patrol in Seattle, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support tenants, visitors, and staff with clear communication and customer service. You will document observations, respond to requests, and work as part of an agile, reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

• Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior common areas, exterior grounds, and parking areas to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor and control access through designated entry points, verify identification and/or visitor authorization as required, and direct individuals to appropriate destinations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting actions taken, and assisting arriving responders as needed.
• Complete routine patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate site conditions and/or maintenance concerns to management.
