As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will assist tenants, visitors, and property teams with professional customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting. Requirements

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by following site-specific security-related procedures, access guidelines, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of building common areas, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
  • Monitor and/or operate site systems such as cameras, alarms, radios, and access control equipment in accordance with post orders, and report unusual conditions to property management and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with property management and/or public responders as directed.
  • Complete timely reports and patrol documentation, communicate security-related observations, and assist with tenant and visitor requests while maintaining a professional presence at the location.
