About The Position

As a Security Officer - Production Facility in Prineville, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support smooth daily operations. You will perform routine rounds, document observations, assist with access and visitor interactions, and communicate clearly with site teams. Bring agility, reliability, and integrity while delivering a people-first experience through teamwork.

Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout warehouse, loading dock, yard, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and vehicle gates, verify visitor and driver credentials per site policy, and direct deliveries, contractors, and guests to appropriate check-in locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with incident notifications, area control, and documentation.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant updates to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
