You will maintain a visible presence, support access control and incident response, and deliver strong customer service and clear communication to employees and visitors. Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 2+ years of security experience.
  • Maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and site visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and communicating updates to site leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of office areas, common spaces, building entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorized entry using site procedures, checking visitor credentials and issuing directions and/or assistance as needed.
  • Complete security-related reports and logs, report maintenance hazards and/or suspicious activity, and coordinate with local responders when required by site protocol.
