As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist staff, patients, and visitors with professional customer service. You will document observations, communicate clearly, and support access control procedures as needed. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and timely communication with site leadership and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Control access by monitoring doors and restricted areas, checking credentials when required, and directing visitors according to site guidelines.
• Complete routine reports and shift logs, document incidents and observations, and notify supervision of maintenance hazards and/or security-related concerns.
