About The Position

As a Security Officer - Reception Desk in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a financial institution location, you will greet employees and visitors, manage check-in procedures, verify credentials, monitor alarms and/or cameras, and document security-related activity. Your visible presence and clear communication help to discourage incidents while delivering a welcoming customer experience. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, members, visitors and/or vendors at the front desk by following site-specific procedures and Allied Universal post orders.
  • Control access to the location by confirming identification, managing visitor sign-in, issuing temporary badges when authorized, and directing guests to the appropriate destination.
  • Monitor lobby activity, alarms, phones, intercoms and/or video systems as assigned, and help to deter suspicious or unauthorized activity by maintaining a professional front desk presence.
  • Respond to incidents, requests for assistance and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating site-specific emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Complete security-related documentation such as shift logs, access records and incident reports, and communicate timely updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
