As a Security Officer - Corporate Lobby in Jurupa Valley, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Have a guard card and/or license, preferred.
Have CPR and/or First Aid certification, preferred.
Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet, preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
Control access by checking identification, directing visitors and vendors, issuing temporary credentials when authorized, and maintaining visitor and delivery logs.
Monitor cameras, alarms, and communications systems, document security-related activity, and complete detailed reports for client and Allied Universal management.
