As a Security Officer - Residential Patrol in Saint Peters, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with site teams, document observations, and respond to situations with professionalism and calm. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the warehouse, yard, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points for employees, visitors, and contractors, verify authorization as required, and direct traffic flow for deliveries, pickups, and gate activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, medical events, and fire-related conditions, and request additional assistance when needed.
• Complete shift activity reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to site contacts, and escalate security-related issues based on post orders.
