Security Officer - Rover Driver Security Clearance
About The Position
As a Security Officer Rover Driver Security Clearance in King Of Prussia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter incidents, and respond to alarms and access concerns with clear communication and strong customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy requirements. Requirements
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities appropriate to an aero and defense location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Control entry and exit by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing deliveries to designated areas per site policy.
- Document routine activities, patrol observations, and incident details in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
