About The Position

As a Security Officer - Roving Patrol Driver in Hampton, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with site personnel, document observations, and respond to requests with strong customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in the job state. At Allied Universal, you will act with integrity, support a caring culture, and deliver through teamwork.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production and office areas, parking areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Perform access control duties by checking identification, managing visitor sign-in and/or badge procedures, and directing personnel to appropriate points of contact.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and communication systems when assigned, and complete clear, timely reports of observations, incidents, and patrol activity.
