You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor access points, and respond to alarms and service requests, helping to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Security Experience ‐ 6+ Months.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access Control/Badge Experience - preferred.
  • Alarm Panel Experience - preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid - preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, data and telecom areas, parking areas, and the building perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
  • Monitor access points and interior areas, observe cameras and/or alarm panels when assigned, and report irregular conditions according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with on-site teams and public responders as directed.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations in written logs and/or electronic systems, and communicate updates to supervisors and site contacts.
