About The Position

As a Security Officer - Roving Patrol in Martin, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing and industrial location as an unarmed patrol officer. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and customer service. You will document observations, support access control as needed, and work as part of a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and guided by integrity.

Requirements

• Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and/or visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and/or calls for assistance based on post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazards.
• Monitor access points and security-related systems as assigned, including verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and/or observing cameras and alarms to help to identify unusual conditions.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and assist with security-related inspections and/or post assignment tasks as directed.
