As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced tech and media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts and your Allied Universal team, and respond to situations with professionalism and integrity. Requirements

  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • A Guard Card/license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns and requesting additional resources when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout technology-focused facilities, including interior work areas, entrances, loading areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, documenting entries, deliveries, and unusual conditions per post orders.
  • Complete detailed reports and logs of patrol activity, incidents, and maintenance or hazard observations, communicating updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
