As a Screener with Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help support security-related operations by screening employees, visitors, and deliveries, verifying access, and documenting activity using site technology. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, and you may assist with patrols and responsive checks across the property. Requirements
- Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Screen employees, visitors and/or drivers at entry points by verifying identification, checking credentials and directing traffic flow according to site procedures.
- Inspect packages, parcels, bags and/or vehicles for prohibited items as permitted by post orders, and document screening results in required logs.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and promptly notify site management and/or emergency services as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, and report hazards, suspicious activity and/or policy violations. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
