As a Security Officer - Unarmed Roving Driver in Lebanon, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy automotive location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related concerns, and respond to incidents with clear communication and strong customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy requirements. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, lots, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Control access at entrances and vehicle gates by verifying identification, directing traffic flow, and/or assisting with visitor check-in according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate internal personnel and/or public emergency services when required.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
