Job Description As a Security Officer - Security Operations Center Operator in Maiden, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch Officer at a leading tech and/or media campus, where you will monitor systems, manage inbound calls, and coordinate responses to security-related events. You will support officers in the field, document activity, and communicate clearly with client teams while using modern tools. Requirements

Have 3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Military/Security Experience OR a College Degree.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR/First Aid is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific, security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology and media campus environment.
Operate the dispatch function by monitoring alarms, cameras, access control, and radio traffic, then prioritizing calls for service and coordinating officer response per post orders.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting actions taken and escalating notifications to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, and shift activity documentation using required systems, including tracking keys, badges, and other site-issued assets.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, checking doors, gates, loading areas, and restricted locations, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
