Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist staff, patients, and visitors with professionalism. Requirements

Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
Have 6+ months of security-related experience.
Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Be able to lift up to 20 lbs preferred.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, hospital site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hospital, including entrances, lobbies, corridors, stairwells, parking areas, and perimeter areas as assigned; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, trespass issues, missing persons reports, and suspicious activity, and notify appropriate hospital personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
Help to deter unauthorized access by monitoring access points, observing visitor flow, and verifying identification and/or visitor authorization in accordance with site-specific policies.
Document patrol activity, incidents, and unusual conditions in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate relevant information during shift changes and to site leadership as required.
