About The Position

As a Security Officer - Tech Patrol Weekdays in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms, and use computers and/or tablets to document activity while delivering standout customer service. At Allied Universal, you will bring integrity, teamwork, and an agile, reliable approach to every shift.

Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, guests, and/or staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and post orders, and assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site contacts and/or public emergency services as required and documenting actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout technology-focused office, warehouse, and/or data operations areas, including interior spaces, exterior grounds, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Control access at designated entry points by monitoring visitors and/or contractors, verifying authorization when required, and directing individuals to appropriate locations in accordance with site procedures.
  • Complete detailed reports and logs, including patrol findings, incident summaries, and shift activity, and communicate relevant information to incoming officers and/or site management.
