Join Allied Universal at a leading healthcare location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that can help deter security-related incidents. You will support staff, patients, and visitors with professional customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting. Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies, disruptive behavior, and/or access concerns within a healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces, corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards, damaged property, and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and controlled areas, assist with visitor check-in directions, and help manage deliveries and contractor entry in accordance with site procedures.
  • Complete reports, log entries, and incident documentation, communicate via radio and/or phone, and coordinate with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as needed.
