About The Position

As a Security Officer - Government Center Patrol in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents. You will support riders and staff with strong customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting of concerns. Requirements

  • Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to riders, employees, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at public transportation locations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disorderly conduct, suspicious activity, and service disruptions, and escalate to law enforcement and/or emergency services as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, parking areas, transit centers, administrative buildings, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited activity.
  • Monitor access points, gates, and restricted areas; verify credentials and/or visitor authorization as required; and direct pedestrians and vehicle traffic to support orderly operations.
  • Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity documentation; communicate observations and issues to site leadership and/or dispatch using radios, phones, and reporting systems.
