About The Position

As a Security Officer TWIC Escort Driver in Pasadena, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents while delivering customer service through clear communication. This is a driving post, supporting mobile coverage and quick response as needed. Requirements

• A TSA issued TWIC is required.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, production areas, storage zones and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Control access for employees, contractors and visitors by verifying identification, managing entry credentials and directing individuals to the appropriate check-in process.
• Monitor alarms, cameras and fire and/or chemical detection notifications when assigned, document observations and complete required reports and logs.
