As a Security Officer - Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver in Sulphur, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post, using a company or site vehicle to check perimeters, gates, and key areas while delivering strong customer service and clear communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a TSA issued TWIC.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a chemical and petrochemical location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, and the perimeter, monitoring for unusual conditions and potential hazards.
  • Control access points as assigned by verifying identification and/or authorization, directing visitors and contractors, and documenting entries and exits.
  • Complete detailed reports and daily activity logs, communicate observations to supervision, and support site incident response and/or investigations as needed.
