Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Access Control in Camden, AR , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an aero and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will monitor access points, report unusual activity, and respond to requests with clear communication and customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Control access at entry points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials when authorized, and directing employees, contractors, and guests according to site procedures.
Monitor alarms, access control systems, and/or CCTV as assigned, and report irregular conditions through the chain of command.
Perform vehicle and/or package screening as required by post orders, following inspection protocols and escalation procedures.
Complete detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations, including maintaining logs and supporting investigations as requested.
Communicate professionally with client representatives, employees, and/or first responders, providing clear directions during routine operations and emergency situations.
Support compliance with site rules related to restricted areas, photography limitations, and controlled materials by observing and reporting concerns.
Operate in varying indoor and outdoor conditions, including walking and standing for extended periods while performing patrol and access control duties.
